Learning how to read is so easy!
Pre-K has a new curriculum called "Celebrate" - Sing and Read. There are big books that incorporate music in the reading. For example, learning the letter "Ss" the book is read to the tune "Jingle Bells". Simple, catchy and fun. The kids love it. Numbers, shapes, and colors are also presented in the same way. At the PreK grade level, learning takes place through play and song and this curriculum combines both.
Today is just a snow day, no AMI work is due for today. Relax, enjoy and be safe!
