2nd grade enjoyed being inside the fish tanks!

The elementary end of year field trip was to the Aquarium at the Boardwalk in Branson. Kindergarten and first grade had a blast!

Things to consider before school starts- shots for 8th graders and incoming Kindergartners must be updated before starting school. Shots can be accessed at the pharmacy and health department. Athletes must have an updated sports physical prior to the first practice.

During summer school, middle school students played a game they created after playing the classic Clue.

"Get me Mr. Matt! Get me!" Of course there was water at Field Day and then everyone got to end the day by relaxing through yoga with Mrs. Givens.

There were races, the parachute and inflatables for our Field Day fun!

SKS had such a great Field Day! Preschool loved the inflatables. Ms. Lori and Principal Farr helped get things ready so he could play too!

Parents/community needed! Would you like to help plan school events? Then make plans now to attend the parent/community meeting Tuesday, July 25th at 6:00.

Time to brag- former SKS student Jozee Riepl has achieved her first college goal, graduating from Crowder College with 2 associates degrees.
Agri-Business and General Studies. Next step, MSSU! We are very proud of you Jozee!

Time to brag! Congratulations to former SKS student Avery Crain for completing her first year of college, maintaining a high GPA while playing volleyball for the Greyhounds! We are proud of you Avery!

We ended our Give Back Day with a picnic lunch!

All of the middle school met back at school and worked on the garden between the buildings.

7th grade went to Lakeside Christian Church to do some landscaping for Give Back Day.

On the calendar for this week:
MS 6-8th grade basketball camp Monday-Thursday 4:00-5:30

6th grade did landscaping at Ccc Camp for Give back Day.

3rd grades Give Back Day was washing windows at The Plaza! They also helped carry groceries inside and swept a few sidewalks.

Be safe and have a blast!

In May, SKS had a "Give Back" day where our students helped out in town and at school to show our appreciation to the folks that take such great care of us throughout the year. K-2 took care of detailed cleaning at the school.

Largemouth Bass art by 7th and 8th grade
