Missouri cookies: "In 4th grade, we studied about the state of Missouri. Then, we colored and labeled a picture of Missouri. Then, we baked cookies and shaped them into the shape of Missouri. After they were done, we decorated them with icing and sprinkles to show the rivers, lakes, and cities. After we finished, we ate them!" -Emma M. and Kim

Our Superkid friend, Oswald, likes to paint and draw ODD ANIMALS like otters, ocelots, ostriches etc. So first grade created our own odd animals and named them with a short o name.

Our custodian Lori had a great time joking with our students this week! The brooms were able to stand straight up on their own due to the Equinox. An equinox is an event in which a planet's subsolar point passes through its Equator. The equinoxes are the only time when both the Northern and Southern Hemisphere experience roughly equal amounts of daytime and nighttime. This happens twice a year, usually September 23 and March 20th.
