For their first career lesson, 7th grade took a trip to Freedom Bank. They learned how the bank makes money, recognizes counterfeit bills, and the different responsibilities for different positions.
It's hard to believe Christmas was already a month ago! One of the annual activities for the NJHS is helping at Santa's Workshop, held at the United Methodist Church. Every year, the student workers help local children shop for gifts for their families. Then, they wrap the gifts with cheer!
CONGRATULATIONS to our amazing food services staff for earning the Silver Spoon award! This means passing at least 3 inspections in a year without a single infraction! 7th grade came out the winners for decorating Ms. Varner!
5th grade won the best snow teacher in the 3-5 competition.
SKS is closed, Wednesday, January 17th. This is a snow day, not an AMI day.
2nd quarter assembly, teacher snowman contest! K-2 showed their competitive spirit with Kindergarten winning the pizza party prize!
