Recently, the Shell Knob Charger Band got the privilege to attend Ozarko Band Competition at MSU on Saturday, October 5th. The competition involved multiple high schools that competed in different divisions. They fought for trophies and individual awards. All of the high schools showcased their incredible marching skills and dedication.
Collectively, the band learned how they worked together as a team, and how the high schools’ hardwork and commitment paid off in their dazzling display. The band altogether was inspired to pursue band and eventually join them on the field.

🏐🌟The first elementary volleyball open gym practice was a huge success! We had a fantastic turnout of girls from grades 1-6, all eager to learn the fundamentals of volleyball and, most importantly, to share in the love of the game! The energy was incredible, and it was a joy to see everyone having so much fun. Mark your calendars for our next practice on October 24—we want to see even more girls join in on the fun! 🌟🏐 #SKSChargers #Volleyball #TeamSpirit #FunInSports

Captain Mike Riepl has served in the fire service for 25 years. Every year he coordinates with Central Crossing Fire Department to educate the students of Shell Knob School. During fire prevention week, the students visit the fire station and learn about fire safety. Thank you to all of the men and women who provide this life saving service to our communities.

Stellar STUDENT Spotlight-
While this post is usually for our stellar staff, we have some pretty stellar students at SKS too!
Zayla- she accidentally spilled her popcorn at the ballgame, right in the main path of traffic. She quickly went and found a broom and dust pan and took care of the cleanup herself!
Ian- he noticed during a basketball game that the bleacher area was very trashy. Soda cans, spilled popcorn, candy wrappers all thrown on the floor. He got a trashcan, broom and dust pan and cleaned the whole area!
