Shell Knob School District #78

Last week, SKS hosted their monthly Family Night.  This time, the theme was Math, in Sugarland style!  Students visited several stations to play math games with their parents.  There was a twist, each patent and student had a punch card.  If they visited a station and played together, their card was punched.  At the end of the night, if their card was completely punched, they were entered into a drawing for 3 $50 Amazon gift cards.  This was a great night and the games were so fun.  Families also enjoyed walking tacos prepared by our wonderful food services staff.  Mrs. Hicks, Title 1 Math Teacher put the evening together.  Many of the games involved cards and at the end of the night, every SKS student was given a book about math and a new math game to take home to play with their families.
