Grandparents Day is fast approaching and Shell Knob School will be celebrating these special people. Students and their grandparents will be served a delicious breakfast casserole by our wonderful food service staff.. The actual holiday is Sunday, September 10, however SKS will celebrate on Friday, September 15th, at 7:45. Here are a few thoughts some of our students shared when asked what their grandparents mean to them: "I admire the way they started the ski shop and coffee shop."- Charlie. "My grandparents watch Westerns, pretty interesting." - Emmett "My grandma likes to blare Michael Jackson and sing it." - Emma "For my birthday, they give me cool stuff." -Sydney "They are fun, we go to Silver Dollar City." -Maverick. We can't wait to see these fun, Western watching, singing grandparents on Friday! If you are a grandparent of one of our students, mark you calendars and introduce yourselves to us, we look forward to it!
