Shell Knob School sets School Registration Dates
It is that time of year again! Custodians and maintenance have worked hard all summer getting the building ready for the first day of school. Teachers and administration have attended training and meetings in preparation for a fantastic year! The 2023/2024 school year is less than a month away. Shell Knob parents can register their students (Preschool, PreK, Kindergarten-8th grade) at school Tuesday, August 8th through Friday, August 11th, 8:30-3:30 p.m. If parents need an evening time, they can call for an appointment at 417-858-6743 to get on the schedule. Evening appointments will be held on Wednesday. This year, ALL students of SKS, new or returning, must show proof of residency. New students to the district, 8th graders and Kindergartners will need to present their updated shot records. Those students participating in athletics must have an updated sports physical prior to the first practice. Shots can be accessed at the pharmacy and health department.
SKS will host a Block Party to celebrate the new school year! There will be Title 1 information, meet the teacher, BBQ, snow cones and bounce houses. The Block Party is on Monday, August 21st, 4:00-6:00 p.m.
